Where to Drop Off Your Ballot

Attention! Your ballot only counts if it arrives by 7 pm on Tuesday, November 3rd. Dropping it off early is the surest way to make sure your vote counts.

Find your closest drop box:

Visit the Secretary of State’s “Where do I drop off my ballot or vote in person?” page and enter your address. You’ll see the drop boxes and voting centers near you.

Before you drop it off:

• Sign the back of your envelope. Unsigned ballots cannot be counted until you fix the signature.

• Don’t wait until the last minute. Drop boxes close at exactly 7 pm on Election Day.

• Mailing it instead? Send it back by October 26 to give it enough time to arrive. Find more information here.

Most drop boxes are open 24 hours a day, so you can drop off your ballot whenever it works for you.
